A collector of hobbies, maker of things, and experience curator based in the artistic town of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her artistic interests span culinary arts, modeling, writing, jewelry making, painting, leather working, and costume making. She has a professional passion for event planning, project management, travel logistics, production operations, and complex coordination.

Born as Siri Dharam Kaur Khalsa and raised in the 3HO Sikh community, Gray began her academic life at the age of six when she left New Mexico to attend boarding school in India. She attended the school for five non-consecutive years. As a teenager, she moved away from the religious community before ultimately leaving entirely. She now goes by Sid Gray both personally and professionally.

As a child, she had a fierce love of all things culinary and would regularly sell baked goods to at local events. After many years of studying, she opened her own coffee shop at the age of seventeen. She operated the business for a year before closing. Today, she no longer works professionally in the culinary world but still enjoys creating new recipes and exploring flavors.

In 2014, Gray began working at the Jean Cocteau Cinema, owned by George R. R. Martin, an award-winning and acclaimed author best known for his series A Song of Ice and Fire, which inspired the hit television show Game of Thrones. Gray started out by selling popcorn and movie tickets before going on to work in the in-house bookstore, which went on to become Beastly Books.

In 2017, Gray shifted from the cinema into Martin’s personal office, where she worked as a personal assistant, better known by the informal title of “Minion.” Despite an unusual start to this career, she worked her way through the organization while studying Martin’s various works.

In 2024, Gray was appointed Director of Operations and currently oversees Martin’s scheduling, project management, travel logistics, event production, and coordination across Martin’s organizations.

Outside of work, she spends much of her time traveling and developing independent creative projects of her own. She is working toward producing the story of her unconventional upbringing, with a dream to one day share it with the world.

Gray lives in Santa Fe, NM, with her partner and their four beloved cats.
